Aberystwyth holds a special place in our family, being home to many of my husband’s relatives. His father moved there from London as a young boy, following a family decision shaped by the health needs of a loved one. At the time, doctors often recommended a move to the seaside in the hope that the fresh sea air would benefit their health. Having previously run a milk round in London, the family began a new chapter in Aberystwyth, where their roots have remained ever since.
